Every moment of life is a blessing. Is it? Sometimes things are really good and in those times we are all the things we wish to be and yet other times, not so good and we are worse than grumpy Charly, Femi or Chinedu. Ultimately Life is life. Life is made up of choices, constant choices. When to eat, when to drink, what to eat, what to do… the list is limitless. It is almost insanity to think of all the people that have walked the earth from the very first man on earth; the very first being which we all have come to agree upon as Adam (in His various forms and cultural elements). But this too is a fact: there was a first man. When we are born, we are oblivious of the world we are about to inherit, everything is so simple.                 The world has clearly identified what poverty means and what wealth of affluence means. We instantly know what a poor man looks like and what a rich man looks like by being told how much money they have in the bank or what they own. Wealth is individual! Or so it seems. Let us look at the subject matter a little closer and you will see that the term self-made does not go beyond the individual; self-made does not exist. A better thing is always built on the efforts of more than one man or woman, people along the lines have played pivotal roles to the arrival of such individuals. So what do the rich know that the poor do not? It is simply this, keep the bond of wealth strong; investors, family wealth, alliances, team-work, common goals or enemies, community.                  As a society, everyone would usually look to the government for its direction, leadership and motion towards making the environment better. While this is true, this is only the half-truth of any developed society. A developed society is a developed community where the factors of development do not reside in these arms of infrastructure, facilities and amenities but in the people that make up that community. A developed environment is a developing environment, where what was available yesterday is constantly upgraded to the needs of today by the people who inhabit that community. There is no need to validate that statement because if we only look at the trends we would see the definitions take its natural course. When you wake up each day, what do you do? Do you have some fancy routine to get you in the mood of work or do you look forward to another day of being human. What you do comes from who you are and who you are should not come from what you do. Many people have lives they never get to live, goals they never get to accomplish and dreams they never get to achieve. The direct thought of questioning should be why? While there are many stipulated projections as to why an individual always seems far away from his or her intent toward living, my direct observation is simply they do not believe enough in anything they put their minds to. What they believe in instead is hope. Hope that one day they will achieve this or that.
